Abstract

The Faculty of Visual Arts as we see it today is the result of a beautiful evolution that began in 1943 when Ignacio Martínez Rendón shared his creativity and talent with some students by offering them classical drawing and painting courses. In April 1980, the Honorable University Council approved the first curriculum of the recently created School of Visual Arts; establishes the academic degrees of Technician in Visual Arts and Higher Technician, giving rise to what is today our beloved faculty.
