Abstract

When people find a channel of expression that suits them, an almost magical process occurs: after a difficult week filled with conflicts and problems that couldn't be fully expressed, art allows them to externalize feelings that would otherwise remain repressed. This process can feel automatic: the image and concept of what one wants to communicate are clear, or one starts without a defined idea, but with the feeling present, which is enough for the creative process to take place. Each human being experiences it differently, but the result is the same: an emotional catharsis through art.
