Abstract
This technique was invented by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. He was a French physicist, lithographer, inventor and amateur scientist who, together with Louis Daguerre, created the first successful photographic process known as "heliography." The progress in improving this technique is not only thanks to Nicéphore, but also to his colleague Daguerre who was the first popularizer of his technology after inventing the daguerreotype, in addition to working as a painter and theater decorator.
